As an artist Carrie painted and wrote fiction in a surrealist form depicting social culture, which never became relevant until her early twenties at which time she pursued a career as an artist.

Carrie moved to New Brunswick where she gained much interest as a picture framer. Carrie's next venture allured her into the business world with its high pace and array of people she would meet.

Carrie developed a niche for watercolour at which time she began portraits using her medium of choice. After moving back home to B.C. in 1998, Carrie spent most of her time writing and raising three children.

In 2008 Carrie again opened a picture framing business and moved to Port Alberni, B.C. with her children and began watercolour portraits again. All works shown here are either sold or in personal collection. However, Carrie is taking commisions for watercolor portraits.
