| Description | People going about their life are always fascinating. Often it is easy to relate to their activities. Sometimes they trigger a thought from the past. Usually, each time you look at them, you see something different. My picture story paintings continue my basic explorations into the interactions between ordinary people in everyday settings. They are part of my representational figurative paintings in a Contemporary Social Realism style, but each is with an emotional hook. Many later period Social Realism paintings, like mine, were bright and colorful, drawing in the viewer with their vibrancy. My paintings follow the contemporary trend of the last decade, where in the movement is being resurrected as figurative scenes. My paintings are found in many private and corporate collections, and collected internationally. |
